Here we go again – more migrants are en route to Ireland after the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and co. have agreed to take in 25 as part of a deal to solve the stand-off with Italy where 234 migrants are on a boat off the coast of Malta.
In an announcement yesterday evening, the Government confirmed that they along with several other countries will take in the migrants who were left stranded onboard the MV Lifeline in the Mediterranean Sea this week.
It’s understood the rescue ship will now dock in Malta after Ireland along with other EU countries agreed to take in the refugees.
