Patrick Stewart will sit at the controls of a Federation ship once again when he reprises his role of Captain Picard in an upcoming Star Trek series.
Stewart played the role of Picard on the Star Trek: Next Generation series between 1987 and 1994.
The new series, which will be produced by American media giant CBS, remains unnamed as of yet, but it is believed that its storyline will follow the events depicted on The Next Generation.
