The most famous Irish traveller there is, Paddy Doherty disgraced himself and his community when he was involved in a ferocious fight at an 18-month-old baby’s funeral in Manchester on Thursday afternoon.

The toddler was knocked over on a halting site by another Doherty who was uninsured and unlicensed.

55-yr-old Doherty showing up at the funeral sparked words between him and first cousin Johnny Joyce. With that, Doherty spat at Joyce who retaliated by knocking Doherty’s two front teeth out.

From there mourners witnessed 40 men involved in a free for all brawl in the graveyard. They used knives and baseball bats. Mourners ran for their lives and hid behind gravestones to try and escape the madness.

The police were called and eventually got the brawl under control.

One witness looking on from the street said “I’ve nothing against travellers,  but there’s an element in their community who don’t care about the law and they just fight for the sake of it”.
