Former Taoiseach John Bruton has come out hard to defend unborn Irish babies by calling for a No vote in the abortion referendum on May 25th.
The well respected former Taoiseach said that all children born and unborn have an equal right to life and that if the Eighth Amendment is repealed, the government will have full reign to impose any abortion laws they want.
He said that if yes wins, abortion will be permissible for any reason whatsoever up to 12 weeks and up to 6 months for mental health.
