There are now serious concerns for Sinead O’Connor’s welfare as international press have picked up on the story we ran last week about the singer posting a heart-wrenching video which saw the 51-yr-old practically beg for help from family or friends.
The singer asked anyone to come and take her home from the motel she’s stuck in over in New Jersey, USA.
A number of strangers are said to have contacted each other and are serious when they claim they will travel to the United States and literally bring Sinead O’Connor back to Ireland.
The singer posted a video to Facebook depicting the true extent of the turmoil she appears to be in.
The iconic singer posted the heartbreaking footage from a TravelLodge motel in New Jersey where she is holed up. She said that she is merely “one of millions” of people who suffer from mental illness and she desperate wants to return to her home country. Social media users have raised serious concerns over the welfare of the singer and her state of mind as she appears to post some very personal thoughts.
She subsequently posted a status on Facebook asking her friend had he a place for her to stay with him. Watch the video below:
