UKIP leader Nigel Farage wasted no time in telling the European Parliment that most of its MEP’s and Commission never had a “proper job”or even working in trade or created a job.
The speech at 10:30am this morning heard Farage tell the parliament that they “weren’t laughing at him anymore”, after last week’s Brexit.
As the European Parliament leaders discussed the consequences of Brexit for the EU, how remaining EU members should regroup following the news, and the potential penalties for the UK following the vote, reportedly being discussed to discourage others members from leaving the union, Farage took to the microphone with an inspiring speech that “stood up for the little man”.
Farage said that the United Kingdom won’t be the only member to leave the EU, and that if anything, the UK will act as a beacon of hope for other members thinking of leaving.
Judging by the comments on an image Luke Ming Flanagan posted on Facebook, it appears there’s a growing itch among many Irish people over the our EU membership also.
