Visitors have been advised to stay away from University Hospital Limerick after a norovirus outbreak.
According to hospital sources, measures are now in place to prevent the spread of the infection, commonly known as the ‘winter vomiting bug.’
As part of these measures, no visitors will be allowed at the facility for the next 24 hours.
