The world renowned band Coldplay are being tipped to play an iconic gig at Slane Castle next year.
According to the Irish Mirror newspaper, the British rock/indie group are the clear favourites amongst bookmakers to play the lengndary venue next year.
The news of the group’s rumoured concert comes after Lord Henry Mountcharles confirmed that a concert will go ahead next summer at the Co Meath.
The Mirror say the British group have been installed as favourites amongst bookmakers to play the concert next year, whilst other acts and including US rock/indie group The Killers and Radiohead have also been heavily backed by the biomarkers.
Next Year’s concert will be welcomed by many as the iconic venue will not host a concert this year.
