Volcanic activity continues at Mount Kilauea in Hawaii, as scientists warn of more powerful eruptions in the coming hours.
Yesterday, a gigantic plume of smoke and ash rose up 30,000ft in the air, prompting geologists to believe that such event may have been the first of series of violent eruptions in the immediate future.
Lava flows from the volcano have already destroyed a number of homes and vehicles, though no fatalities have yet occurred.
