Wales claim second in this year’s Six Nations Championship after a hard fought win over France

Wales have finished their Six Nations campaign in second place after a hard fought 14-13 win over France in Cardiff this evening.

In a match that was billed as a dead rubber, both sides didn’t show it as they went for it in a bid to take the runners up spot behind Ireland.

The match which was a fast paced affair was also a low scoring affair as both sides only managed to score a try apiece.

However it Wales who came on top as the boot of Halfpenny priced difference as three converted penalties that ultimately proved the difference between the two sides after 80 minutes.
