Motorists have been advised to take extra care overnight and especially tomorrow morning as incoming Storm Diana makes its way inland.
Very strong winds upwards of 130kp/h are expected, particularly along the Southwest coastline – but the storm will make its way inland as the morning progresses with two status orange weather warnings issued by national forecaster Met Eireann for the majority of the country.
The public have been advised to share this information with their friends and family who’ll be on the roads overnight and in the morning.
