Washout weekend will give way to a dry and settled week

This weekend is expected to be a washout, but the coming week is forecast to bring in some dry and settled weather.

Forecasters think that the UK will get the brunt of Storm Callum, as high pressure begins to build around Ireland.

Daytime temperatures will hover around the mid teens, with long sunny spells, particularly on Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will rise slightly towards the middle of the week, leading into a mild and dry end of the week.
