Water becomes unpotable in Meath due to excessive levels of chlorine




Thousands of residents across Meath have received notice to not drink or use their water supply until further notice, due to excessive levels of chlorine.

Some reports say that children have suffered illness due to the chemical contamination of the water.

The affected areas are Kilcloon, Moygaddy, Killeany, Kilgraigue, Harristown, Brownstown, Ballynare, Butlerstown, Staffordstown, Brownrath, Blackhall Little, Waynestown, and Harlockstown.
