An escatic Vera Twomey has posted some truly touching and wonderful images on her Facebook page over the weekend.
The Cork woman has been campaigning endlessly to have her young daughter Ava receive medicinal cannabis treatment at home here in Ireland rather than the Netherlands.
Ava has a severe and rare form of epilepsy that thankfully has dramatically increased since she has started the treatment.
Vera posted an image of the two embracing with a Christmas theme that simply read “we made it, mum” – it says it all.
