Tuesday evening is shaped to be an unpleasant one, weather wise at least, as gale force winds and cold temperatures are forecast.
Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for high winds, which will kick in at 9pm this evening and will remain in place until 9am on Wednesday morning.
Winds are expected to be stronger in western and northwestern counties, with gusts of 110km/h possible.
Meanwhile, the thermometer will sink to 3C in places, so stay indoors and stay warm.
