It may well be Spring but the weather doesn’t realise it yet.
Freezing fog, ice and even snow are on the way this weekend mixed with deceiving sunny spells.
The Mirror says Met Eireann have given a wintery outlook until at least Monday:
“The winds will continue to ease during the morning and many areas will be dry with sunny spells.
“Heavy downpours will develop through the day with some falls of hail, sleet and snow occurring also.
“A cold day with frost in places at first and temperatures at best 6 to 9 degrees dropping sharply this afternoon.
“Fresh to strong westerly winds will drop light to moderate and gradually back southerly.
“Further heavy falls tonight of rain, sleet and snow.
“Lowest temperatures zero to 3 degrees with frost and icy patches developing locally but not widespread.”
