Westmeath destroy Meath in the second half to reach Leinster final

In what only can be described as an extraordinary comeback, with just 20 minutes to go, Westmeath not only demolished a 9 point deficit, they went on to win for a goal and a point.

The first half saw Meath destroy Westmeath’s defense, while the opposite happened in the secondhalf.

Between Kieran Martin and John Heslin, a total of 42 scores saw a final whistle of Westmeath with 3, 19 and Meath 2, 18.
