If you’re planning to go out on New Year’s Eve, you better bring an umbrella along, as wet weather is expected to blight the coming of the new year.
A spokesperson for Met Eireann says that a band of rain will cross the country from the northwest throughout the day on December 31.
The rain will probably clear on New Year’s Day, but temperatures are expected to drop a little.
