There was a feeling of deliverance in the Dublin air this morning when a vehicle belonging to a private clamping firm fell foul of Dublin City Council’s own clamping wrath.
The incident took place outside St. Stephen’s Church on Upper Mount Street earlier today. A van used by Nationwide Controlled Parking Systems Ltd found itself rooted to the spot by one of those infamous yellow clamps.
And thus the hunter became the hunted. What goes around, comes around.
