The coming weekend is going to be a washout, with the possibility of sleet and snow in some areas of the country.
Met Eireann have issued two separate weather warnings for the coming days, due to heavy downpours, possiby causing localised flooding.
A Status Yellow Weather warning affecting southwestern, western, and northwestern counties expired at 6pm this evening.
Meanwhile, a Status Yellow rain warning remains in place until 12pm tomorrow for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick. Very heavy rain is expected overnight, and up to noon.
Motorists are advised to proceed with extreme caution, as there is plenty of surface water around.
