What summer? Tomorrow and Monday are going to be an absolute wash out




Showers covered the entire country throughout the week with raincoats being worn everywhere.

Well unfortunately after today, the weather is going to be horrendous for another couple of days.

Met Eireann, the national forecaster, have given this weather warning.

They said: “Outbreaks of rain this morning will continue to clear away eastwards and sunny spells will develop.

“There will be sunny spells this afternoon and evening but scattered heavy showers also.

“It will be a mild day with top temperatures ranging from 17C to 21C in freshening southwesterly winds.

“Tonight, there will be clear spells tonight and dry apart from local showers. Lowest temperatures will be 10C to 13C in fresh southwesterly winds.

“Sunday will be a bright, fresh blustery day with sunny spells and passing heavy showers in places.

“Temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in fresh to strong southwesterly winds veering westerly.

“The outlook for next week is for warmer weather to develop after a fresh start with showers.

“Cool and windy Sunday night and mostly dry with clear spells.

“Monday will be a mild and mostly dry day with just a few scattered showers about.

“Temperatures of 15C to 18C in moderate westerly winds backing southwesterly. Lowest temperatures 10C to 13C.”
