Ireland is getting its first taste of winter this year, as temperatures plummet just in time for Halloween.
Sunday night is expected to be rather chilly, with temperatures sinking to -3C in some areas, and widespread frost formation.
Bank Holiday Monday will see good sunny spells, with temperatures rising to 9C at best. Tuesday will see a similar weather pattern.
Met Eireann has warned that Storm Deirdre may hit our shores later in the week, probably around Thursday evening, but that forecast is still uncertain.
