Winter isn’t over yet, not by a long shot.
The last couple of days have been mild enough for this time of year, there’s a cold snap on the way later in the coming week.
Temperatures will remain above the 10C mark up to Wednesday, but come Thursday things are taking a turn for the worse.
A mass of cold air is moving in from the northwest, bringing daytime temperatures to about 3-5C, with lows of -1C possible.
Met Eireann say snowfalls are very likely in the north and east of the country on Thursday right into the weekend.
