Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a woman aged in her 60s was left in serious condition in hospital following an assault over the weekend.
It is understood the woman was taken to St James’s Hospital after she was found with head injuries at house in Crosswood Drive, in Clondalkin, on Saturday.
Investigating officers say the woman currently remains in critical condition, they also say there have been no arrests made and an investigation is currently ongoing.
