World’s first Nutella café set to open in Australia

It’s time to wish you lived in Australia. The world’s first Nutella café is set to open in Melbourne.

Married couple, Paul and Lauren Kristoff are opening a café and pop-up store entirely devoted to the beloved hazelnut spread. Ironically Lauren has a nut allergy.

The store will only operate for one day, opening its doors at 9am on September 12 but if its a hit it could become a permanent fixture. There will also be coffee and beer on offer. It may be on the other side of the globe but if it catches on its highly likely we’ll see others open closer to home.

The café will serve an array of Nutella filled treats. Nutella ‘bento boxes’ containing a Nutella peanut-butter S’more (marshmallow and chocolate sandwich), a Nutella salted-caramel chocolate truffle, and a Nutella and maple tart with smoked hickory Italian meringue are bound to go down a treat with the Aussies.
