Barely two months after commencing scheduled flights from Cork to Reykjavik in Iceland, Wow Air has announced that it will scrap the route from October 2017.
The route was initially planned to run for 12 months, but an apparent lack of demand has forced the airline to rethink the idea.
The route will be in operation until October 27 this year, after which it will be suspended for the winter, pending a review.
