According to a recent poll carried out by th Irish Daily Mail Irish voters have said they would be more than happy to vote for Fine Gael if either Simon Coveney or Leo Varadkar was in charge.
The latest poll which all but dismisses voters confidence in Enda Kenny comes as the Taoiseach’s much debated future hangs in the balance.
The polls figures also suggest that if an election were to be held today Fine Gael would fair badly losing to Michael Martin’s Fianna Fáil.
However figures also suggest the party would fair better if Coveney or Varadkar were in charge.
