A man in his 20s sadly lost his life in a workplace accident on Thursday.
The incident happened inside the Kildare Chilling Company factory, sited on the Dublin Road, Kildare.
It is understood that the man, who was of Moldovan origin, died after being struck by a vehicle.
Both Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority are conducting investigations into the incident.
