A 21-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed during an altercation in Co. Limerick yesterday.
The incident happened in the town of Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, on Saturday evening.
Gardai recovered a bladed weapon which they believe was used in the stabbing.
A man of Eastern European origin was arrested at the scene.
