A 25-year-old man remains in hospital after being stabbed in the torso outside in the car park of the popular nightclub, the Wright Venue in Swords, Co.Dublin.
The man told staff to call an ambulance at 4am as they were cleaning up after an event with Chris Brown following his concert in the 3Arena.
He was rushed to Beaumont hospital where it was discovered that he had suffered injuries to his back and torso. He is due to undergo surgery for his serious injuries.
Gardaí will speak to the man to ascertion the details once his condition improves. The carpark was closed off this morning as the scene was assessed. Drains and the undersides of cars were also searched for a potential weapon.
