A man in his 20s has been left fighting for his life in hospital, after a shooting incident in the Tallaght area of Dublin a short time ago.
Gardai were called to the scene in Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, just before 9.30pm. It is understood that the man was shot a number of times.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Tallaght Garda Station.
