Gardai have confirmed that a man has died after a road crash involving three vehicles on Sunday evening in Ballinasloe, Co Galway.
The crash happened around 6:30pm at the Ashtree Junction.
It’s understood that the driver of one of the cars, a man aged in his 60s, was taken to Portiuncula University Hospital where sadly he passed away, gardaí say.
One other person was taken to hospital as a precaution with no other injuries reported.
