There’s great news emerging from Australia tonight.
Australian police had believed that little Cleo Smith had been abducted in the outback almost two weeks ago.
Tonight, they’ve announced that she was found safe and well in a house 900km from where she went missing.
Police in Perth said:
“It’s my privilege to announce that in the early hours of this morning, the Western Australian police force rescued Cleo Smith.
Police broke into a house in Carnavon where they found Cleo in a room. A police officer picked the little girl up and asked what her name was to which she replied “my name is Cleo”.
A man has been arrested and is in custody.
Cleo has thankfully been reunited with her family.
