A man conducting research on the Moors murders has reportedly discovered human remains that might belong to a child who went missing in 1964.
Keith Bennett was 12 at the time of his disappearance. His body was never found. Bennett is believed to have been the final victim of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.
However, late on Saturday evening Manchester Police have stated that there have been no human remains found at the site during the first search. They say that searches will continue and that they’ll do extensive work on the site to determine whether the child is buried there or not.
An investigation is ongoing.
