The latest Business Post RED C opinion poll found support for Sinn Féin hit a new high for the second consecutive month in this round of voter polls.
The poll was conducted with more than 1,000 voters online for five days until last Wednesday.
The rising cost of living currently the dominant issue in politics, this poll shows the main opposition party continuing to gain support.
Sinn Féin are up two points to 36% in the latest comparable survey in April.
The two largest ruling parties each lose a point, leaving Fine Gael with 20% and Fianna Fáil with 15%.
