Teacher Enoch Burke went back to Wilson’s Hospital School in Co Westmeath today. He’s defiant that he will never ever call a boy a girl.
Enoch Burke was controversially thrown into prison last year after a contempt of court order for refusing to stay away from his workplace.
The whole debacle started when a student wanted to be referred to as “they”, to which Enoch Burke said he wouldn’t call the student “they”.
An alleged row with the school’s Principal ensued and disciplinary hearing was due to take place over the matter.
No comment has been made thus far about Enoch Burke returning to school today.
