Teacher Enoch Burke went back to Wilson’s Hospital School in Co Westmeath today for a third day in a row to teach his kids despite being dismissed from the school following a school disciplinary meeting last week. He’s defiant that he will never ever call a boy a girl.
He got taken away from Gardai Tuesday and returned to the school again yesterday.
He’s currently standing outside the school having spoken to a man who appeared to not let him in.
Enoch Burke was controversially thrown into prison last year after a contempt of court order for refusing to stay away from his workplace.
The whole debacle started when a student wanted to be referred to as “they”, to which Enoch Burke said he wouldn’t call the student “they”.
An alleged row with the school’s Principal ensued and disciplinary hearing took place last week leaving Enoch Burke without a job.
No comment has been made thus far about Enoch Burke returning to school today.
