
The GAA world is in complete shock todat after Tipperary hurler Dillon Quirke collapsed whilst playing for his club Clonoulty/Rossmore in a championship match at Semple Stadium on Friday evening.
The hurler fell ill during the first half of the game with Kilruane MacDonaghs and received medical treatment on the pitch before being rushed to Tipperary University Hospital by ambulance where sadly he passed away a short time later.
Complete shock, disbelief and confusion has been posted on social media, as the young man’s sad death is investigated.
