

All three males have sadly died after the car they were travelling in entered a river in Galway this morning.
Gardai were called to a report of a car in the water at Menlo Pier in Galway city at 2.40am.
It’s understood that three men were taken from the River Corrib’s waters and transferred to University Hospital Galway, where two passed away and the third male, was was described as being in a critical condition, sadly also died.
The scene is preserved for a technical examination and the services of Forensic Collision Investigators have been requested.
They have been named locally as 16-yr-old John Keenan, 17-yr-old Wojcieck Panek and 19-yr-old Christopher Stokes.
