A woman in her twenties was killed in an attack in Limerick this afternoon.
The incident happened in a residential building on Dock Road in the city.
The scene is currently undergoing a technical review by the technical office of Garda. The state pathologist’s office has been notified and an autopsy will be ordered.
The woman’s body remains at the crime scene.
