Gardai have confirmed that two people have been killed in two separate accidents over the past 24 hours.
A man aged in his 70s was killed in a single vehicle accident when his motorbike crashed in Donedea, Co Kildare on Monday evening around 6pm.
Another man aged in his 40s was killed in Carrick-on-Suir in Co Tipperary late last night.
Both men’s bodies were taken to hospital where post mortems are to be carried out.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact them on the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
