14-yr-old from Co Clare gets caught towing caravan while uninsured on very busy motorway

A teenager from County Clare has been caught herding a caravan along the M4 towards Swindon, UK.

The 14-year-old Irish wild child was caught behind the wheel of a Saab near junction 16. He told police he was 22 and was later charged in Swindon Magistrates Court with obstruction of police, driving without a license and driving without insurance, reports Sunday World.

“Such stupidity,” said Wiltshire Police, whacking the flag boy with a four-month conditional leave and a £20 fine.

Three other passengers in the vehicle were driving without permission. The boy has since turned 15 years old.

“Not only was this boy just 14 with no driving licence, none of the three passengers inside the vehicle had a valid driving licence either,” reports Sunday World.

The boy has accepted all the charges against him following the incident last October.

Mondello Park Race-Track currently has an Early Drive Program, a unique safety course designed for 13- to 17-year-olds who want to learn to drive and operate a car for the first time, reports Sunday World.

The organizers say the courses are taught in a fun, challenging and safe environment, with a combination of practical work and theoretical work on the track.

The Road-Ready session includes practical theory test questions and a step-by-step guide to applying for a driving licence, reports Sunday World.
