22-yr-old Syrian migrant accused of biting Irish woman on face and lips during ‘predatory’ Dublin attack

A man is charged with pursuing and executing a “predatory” assault on a lady who reported to gardaí that she was restrained to the ground and subjected to bites to her lips and face in a neighbourhood in south Dublin, reports Breaking News.

The woman who was attacked and sustained face injuries on Wednesday night outside her Churchtown house was charged with assault causing hurt by Seif Waleed Al Hindawi, a 22-year-old homeless asylum seeker who is thought to be from Syria.

He was taken into custody for interrogation over the course of two days, charged on Friday night, imprisoned until the Dublin District Court’s next session, and ultimately denied bail by Judge Monika Leech, reports Breaking News.

Police Judge Leech was informed by Michelle Maunsell that Mr. Hindawi responded to the accusation by saying, “I didn’t attack her.”
