An Albanian national appeared in court in Naas in connection with the seizure of €1.5 million cannabis and cocaine along with some €41,000 in cash following searches in Slane, Co Meath and in Co Kildare.
In one of the searches in an apartment in Co Kildare, they found close to €1.1 million cannabis and some €400,000 in alleged cocaine – however, the court heard that this was not the man’s address but that he had a key for the apartment.
The Albanian man will appear again in court on Thursday.
