5.2-magnitude quake hits the Greek island of Crete




A 5.2-magnitude quake has hit the Greek island of Crete today.

The epicenter was located near Crete’s capital city, Heraklion.

While residents say they felt the ground shaking, it’s understood that no personal injuries have been reported.

The Mediterranean area is prone to seismic activity. Last week, a 4.2-magnitude tremor hit Athens.
