The mother of a five-year-old girl who was stabbed in Dublin city centre says she is “still fighting”, reports The Mirror.

A girl was seriously injured by a man armed with a knife in a random attack outside Galscoil Cholais Muir in Parnell Square East in Dublin city centre on Thursday, November 23.

And now, in a new GoFundMe update, the girl’s mother has revealed that she hopes to be moved from the ICU to a ward by the end of the year.

“Our little girl is a warrior. She is still fighting. She remains in the PICU with hopes of moving to the ward before the end of the year. We can all feel the love and prayers every second of the day,” the mother wrote, reports The Mirror.
