The difference was immediately apparent when President Biden and former President Trump took the platform, reports RTE.
Biden moved slowly, stiffly in little steps.
Trump confidently strode.
From then on, things just got worse.
President Biden gave a clumsy response on the economy and healthcare inside the first five minutes, which was an opportunity to score points, reports RTE.
He stopped talking, lost his stream of thought, blurted out, “We finally beat Medicare,” and became confused between Medicaid and Covid.
President Trump struck.
“He was right. He did beat Medicaid, beaten to death and is destroying Medicare,” he said, reports RTE.
