Airbus has confirmed the loss of 1,700 jobs in the UK.
The aircraft manufacturer has blamed ‘an unprecedented crisis’ in the industry for the job losses.
Worldwide, Airbus will cut 15,000 jobs.
Around 13,500 people are currently employed at Airbus across the UK.
