Alexei Navalny has been discharged from hospital following suspected poisoning with a nerve agent.
The prominent Putin critic fell gravely ill during a flight to Moscow last month. He was subsequently transferred to a medical facility in Berlin, where tests revealed that his body had traces of novichok, a Soviet-era nerve agent. Navalny’s associates claim that he was poisoned via a tainted water bottle he got in the hotel he had been statying
Russian authorities claim they have seen ‘no evidence’ of a crime and have not opened an investigation into the matter.
