An 11-year-old girl was rushed to hospital in Dublin this evening, after being struck by a vehicle near the Noggin Inn pub.
It is understood the girl was hit while attempting to cross the Sallynoggin Road. The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, was not injured and remained at the scene.
The condition of the child is described as ‘serious.’
